Costa Rica Rancho Las Colinas Golf Vacation Rentals
Rancho Las Colinas Golf Costa Rica is currently undergoing a golf boom, the
likes of which produced Porta Vierta a decade ago. Another 18 hole course,
Rancho Las Colinas Golf and Country Club, is located 20 minutes from the
Playa Conchal. Near Flamingo Beach, Rancho las Colinas Golf and Country Club
was first opened in 1997. Designed by Ron Garl, an architect recently named
Golf Course Designer of the Year by the International Network of the Golf
Industry. The Ron Garl design wanders over the hills and valleys of Tamrindo.
While more rustic than
the Garra De Leon, it offers plenty of scenic vistas, especially on the back
nine.The front 9 offers gently rolling fairways surrounded by lots of water
hazards. The back 9 is very different with steep fairways carved out of
rocky terrain where accuracy is needed. This course is sure to become the
jewel of a quickly developing residential and commercial community. Las
Colinas is about a five hour drive or a 30-40 minute flight from San Jose.
Course statistics. This 18 hole, par 72 course is 6721m long.
