Regardless of
whether you are playing golf in San José at 4,000 ft where the daily high
temperature including the months of June, July & August is only 85, playing
a round in the rare dry tropical forest of the northwest Pacific or enjoying

seldom crowded and on most days you don't need an advanced tee time. Fees of

Hacienda Pinilla Golf Resort

Hacienda Pinilla, located on Costa Rica's
North Pacific coast near Flamingo Beach, is just a short drive from
Meliá Playa Conchal's Garra de León Golf Course. This 18 hole
championship links style layout was completed in February of 2001.
Georgia-based architect Mike Young designed
the course on what was a working cattle ranch and is now part of a 5,000
acre mega-development. |
The Marriott Corp. recently announced that it would
build a JW Marriott hotel on the site which currently has a small hacienda
style hotel.

This championship George Fazio designed course was founded in 1974. The land was once a coffee plantation.

Course designer is Tracy D. May. Situated in the Santa Ana Valley and 10 minutes from San Jose and the Juan
